Sue Jaggar (sitting front right holding puppy) who has been the local branch’s photographer is leaving town soon and gave a series of tips with practical demonstrations and handouts for those who may be able to take over some of her work.
Photography of foster animals is an important part of RSPCA work as it enables the public to see what pets are available for adoption.
Photos are then used on Facebook, Pet of the Week columns in the Express Extra, on display boards at Adopt a Pet days and on the donation bins at local supermarkets.
If you are an animal lover, have the patience to take photos of cute animals, and would like to become involved in this interesting and fun activity, please contact the volunteers’ co-coordinator, Ashleigh Grainger ashleighjade03@hotmail.com or phone 0497 819 043 to find out more details.
