She is also the most recent columnist to join the Armidale Express’ band of experts who write about a range of topics each week.
WATCH: Debbie Bower talks about her column Nature Matters:
Last month she started writing the column, Nature Matters.
The column is about her travels throughout the New England region, looking for species of animals and plants.
Her first column explained how she had a creek the previous week, and inspected male Pobblebonks, who call repeatedly in the hope of luring a prospective lover.
With 2018 drawing to a close we have decided to take the opportunity to talk to some of our writers about their columns.
As well as explaining what they write about, and what insight they are trying to provide, we also asked them about the feedback they receive from the community.
