Junior players from around the region will have the chance to interact with some of the game’s biggest stars when Brad Fittler brings his Blues outfit to Sport UNE for a clinic on January 19.
Director of UNE Life David Schmude details are still being finalised but it is an exciting opportunity for the region’s young league players to interact with some of the country’s best.
“They are up here on a State of Origin camp obviously to train.
“They are putting on a clinic.
“Kids will come from all over the place, it is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
“I don't know if it is unique but it is certainly distinctive in regards to us hosting a State of Origin camp in January.
“I am not sure if they have done it before.”
Brad Fittler took over the NSW State of Origin coaching role this year and has implemented some new training procedures for the team.
