Adrian Walsh, Hugh Cook, Brendon Passey, Tom Walsh and Stephen Tafra are the Fovndlings. With a smile, Adrian initially described the band’s genre as “Cow Punk”, but later said Alternative Indi would be the traditional genre for their music.

He said the band would be on stage at the Impie on from 9pm until late on Friday, December 21.
“The songs are written by Hugh Cook and I (Hugh’s the drummer), so the two of us have basically written all the music and we have three other musicians in the band,” he said.

“Hugh and I have been writing together since 2013. The actual band didn’t start playing until 2015. On Friday night we’ve got three bands playing original music. the first is called Uniglo with two members. I don’t know much about them, it’s rather an obscure group.
“We’re playing next and then The Warts, who are, I suppose, a post punk band from Uralla. They have got an album coming out next year called Weakened by Mange. We’ve got an EP out called These Open Clearings.”
Adrian said he was hoping for a big crowd at the Impie.
“They’ve got a good setup there. They’ve got a good stage and a very good audio setup, a good lighting rig, and it’s small enough to be intimate, but there’s still enough space there,” he said.
