Armidale Express Extra has been featuring a story each month from one of these students.
From professional rock climber Sasha Gerzha’s journey from Russia to Anjali Awal Prajapati from beautiful Nepal, these stories tell of determination to overcome all obstacles.
As student Supala Gautam Ghimire from Nepal says: “...my concern is not for collection of sympathy, rather I just want to share the bitter experience of my life.”
New stories are added as we share the experiences of students from around the globe as they arrive, or even finish their Armidale adventure.
“It’s so hard to say goodbye to someone or something that you really love. I think after all the years in Armidale, we have become part of this town,” Fiona Fu writes.
You can find their stories and take a look at the interactive map at www.armidaleexpress.com.au
