The Tin Humpy is a major part of the Looking Through Windows Project by Dr Lorina L. Barker and her team at UNE. This installation is open to the public from 10.30am to 2pm on Friday. Everyone is welcome to attend, which includes the Trucked Off Performance, opening of Tin Humpy, smoking ceremony and Simon Mellor singing campfire songs. This is part of a two-year multimedia history project showcasing Elders’ stories of mission life and what it was like to be removed from country and forced to live under the “protection” of the Aborigines Protection/Welfare Boards.

OPERATIC RECITAL
Italian pianist, director and composer; Alessio Nelli joins soprano Michelle Ryan and mezzo-soprano Hannah Fraser to perform an intimate recital of operatic favourites at St Peter's Anglican Cathedral Parish Centre, Tingcombe Avenue.
