The Australian wheelchair racer won gold and silver at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. Fearnley was also the Australian Flag Bearer at the Closing Ceremony.
His can-do attitude that makes the impossible possible.
Born without the lower portion of his spine, he has, since birth, been supported by his family, friends and home-town community of Carcoar to never let his disability be a handicap to living a full and meaningful life.
His sporting successes have included medals at four Paralympic Games, two Athletics World Championships and three Commonwealth Games, and he has also ‘crawled’ the Kokoda Track.
Mr Fearnley is also a tireless advocate in the areas of disability and mental health.
Headmaster Murray Guest said the School was honoured to have Mr Fearnley as the special guest on Speech Day.
