Australian Natural Therapeutic Group (ANTG) will soon be cultivating cannabis on a property near Armidale, just six weeks after Tamworth Regional Council approved an $8 million operation at Kootingal for Cann Pharmaceuticals.
Website Seek is advertising for ten positions at the soon-to-be established operation.
The roles range from Cultivation Genetics Lead and Cultivation Manager, through to Quality Control and Dry, Trim and Pack Supervisors.

ANTG management were contacted by The Leader, but are unable to comment until later in the week.
While Cann chairman Andrew McCrea was unaware of the ANTG operations plans in Armidale, he was far from surprised by the development.
“It is not ideal, but it is not worrying – we always expected there would be some competition,” he said.
While having two cannabis cultivation operations does sound like good news for both the region and the Australian industry, local cannabis crusader Lucy Haslam says people need to manage their expectations.
“This is going on all over the country – in every state other than the Northern Territory operations are popping up all over the place,” she said.
“Every state and region thinks they are going to be the hub of medicinal cannabis because there is that many approvals being given.
“Unfortunately these companies are looking mainly at global export because access in Australia is still very poor.”
