Armidale airport recorded 31.4mm of rain since 2pm on Wednesday, November 21, while the Armidale (Tree Group Nursery) gauge recorded 27mm.
Readings from the Armidale Airport showed clearing showers from about midnight and the heaviest falls finishing up after 6am on Thursday, November 22.
Decent falls early on Thursday saw Glen Innes pick up a tidy 56mm, according to the Glen Innes Airport gauge. Rain seemed to commence in earnest about 4pm on Wednesday and continued until 5am on Thursday, when 36.6mm had been pulled from the gauges.
Glen Innes recorded 56mm with steady falls from 5am until 9am on Thursday.
Inverell had recorded 8.8mm of rain until 3.30pm on Wednesday, but a decent fall lifted that figure to 18.6mm by 4pm.
Light rain fell steadily until the reading was 24.6mm at 3am on Thursday. It picked up and fell at its heaviest from then until 9am when 59.6mm was reached. BOM figures also recorded falls of 58.6mm at Pindari Dam.
There are no BOM readings for Guyra or Tenterfield, and a long range weekly forecast for the region does not include more moisture. It seems we are in for a some windy, mostly sunny days with a low chance of any more rain.
