Willian was born in Hernani in 1899 and Myra was born also in Hernani in 1898. Both lived all their lives in the Armidale district and have many descendants in the area. 

The family is having a reunion in Sawtell on March 16, 2019 and invite any family members to attend.

Susan Lathwell’s mother Margaret was the first born of Billy and Myra Newell. 

We will talk about our common heritage – we have the Newell falls, the Newell highway. Now we have the Newell reunion!
