The 2AD New England Trophies Senior Sports Star for 2018
Keith Ellis for Hockey He helped Australia’s over 75 men’s masters hockey squad win the world cup in Spain, plus helped NSW win the over 75 National title.
Keith has represented Australia around 180 times, and reckons it would be a few more games representing NSW over the year, and to think he had never played for his country until after he turned 35.
Its thought there is no other athlete from Armidale that has represented his country as many times as Keith.
He still played locally for his beloved Servies in third grade.
