The case against a man accused of defrauding the National Disability Insurance Scheme of more than $400,000 is set to include evidence from 200 witnesses.

Parkville man Mohamed Osman Omar, 36, faced Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday accused of stealing from the scheme.
It's alleged that between June 18 and July 23 this year, Omar submitted payment requests and received $483,770 from the scheme through company Langmann Care Pty Ltd.
He also allegedly made unlawful payment requests for $142,384 on behalf of that company, between June 18 and August 18.
Prosecutor Kathryn Thornton was granted extra time to prepare a brief of evidence against him, including statements from 200 witnesses and an analysis of more than 500 transactions, computers and electronic equipment.
There is also a small amount of CCTV footage, she said.
Omar also faces two charges of dealing with proceeds of crime, in amounts of more than $100,000 and $10,000, respectively.
Magistrate Donna Bakos granted prosecutors until December 18 to complete a brief of evidence.
Omar is due to return to court next February.
