At the NSW under 15s state indoor championships at the weekend, Chelsea’s performances earned her the prestigious player of the tournament award.
She captained the New England team to sixth place at the event on the Central Coast.
In Pool B of division one, the New England side started the tournament on Friday with a 4-2 win against Central Coast.
They backed it up with another win, this time a closer, 4-3 victory against Grafton.
The side went down in their third match of the competition, 3-1 to the Northern Beaches before taking on Tamworth, losing 2-nil.
Their finals match against North West Sydney went the way of their opponents 2-nil.
Illawarra South Coast were crowned the winners of division one.
The NSW team is set to be announced on Wednesday with Chelsea hoping for a call-up.
