“This sale has arts and prints and probably there’s some tapestry type products as well that have been donated from the community,” Russell said.
“We’ll probably have over 600 items by the time we get started.
“The sale will be held on Friday 19 from 7am to 9pm, Saturday from 10am to 3pm and on Sunday from 10am until noon. The Youth Hall is at the rear of the church.”
The sale will be officially opened on Friday night by Rotary district governor Lorraine Coffey.

“The items that we’ve got are priced through from five dollars to a couple of hundred and there’s quite a range of qualities, themes and styles and so on,” Russell said.
Max said the sale was started by Armidale Rotary’s Inner Wheel.
“They ran two very successful sales, the first one raised about $7,000 for equipment to the hospital,” Max said.
“The last couple of years, when Rotary have run it with the church, we’ve raised about $4,000. Half goes to the church and half goes to Rotary for charity.”
Rotary will donate their share of the funding to motor neurone disease research and and the church will split their share between the Armidale Care Van and Frontier Services, which gives help and support for families in remote Australia.
