Entries were received from all over the New England, and as far away as the Sunshine Coast, Lismore, and Tamworth.
Prize winners included artists from Guyra artists, Armidale, and Tamworth, with entries in all six categories.
There was a wonderful response and high standard, according to judge and artist Peter Champion, who made many favourable comments about the venue and the display.
The exhibition is open at Caffiends all weekend till 2pm Sunday, October 1.
The festival’s grand opening is on Friday evening, when prizes will be awarded to the winning entrants.
