Professional instructors from Totem Skateboarding will hold three-hour clinics in Tingha on Tuesday October 2, Guyra on Wednesday, October 3 and Armidale on October 4.
The clinics, starting at 10am each day, will include demonstrations, lessons and giveaways.
Armidale Regional Council Youth and Family co-ordinator Alice Cleaver said the clinics were designed for skateboard and scooter riders aged five-years and over, from beginners to intermediates, and were open to all skill levels.
“The instructors work on skating skills and techniques, as well as focusing on equipment maintenance and ensuring safety gear is fitted correctly," she said.
“All required equipment is available to borrow, or participants can bring their own gear.”
Alice said each workshop is limited to 20 people, so instructors can work closely with each participant.
“Interested people should move quickly to book a spot,” she said.
