The Armidale boy, who cannot be identified because of his age, was granted conditional bail in Parramatta Children’s Court on two charges of indecent assault.
Armidale detectives allege the boy tackled from behind and indecently assaulted a 19-year-old woman on September 2 as she walked along the bike track. She suffered bruising and minor injuries, police claim.
He’s also accused of grabbing and indecently assaulting a 41-year-old woman as she jogged along the bike path on the morning of August 18.
The boy was arrested by Armidale detectives on September 7 and was initially denied bail in an out-of-sessions hearing in Armidale Local Court.
