The ADFAS Armidale Lecture, Rosetti’s Women with lecturer Linda Smith, will be held at 6pm at the Michael Hoskins Centre, The Armidale School. Gabriel Rosetti exerted a tremendous influence over British art towards the end of the 19th century. This talk examines the relationships in Rosetti's life, and his attitudes to women generally at the time. It also looks at his influences. Linda Smith has two first-class degrees in Art History, and is an experienced guide and lecturer at the Tate Britain, Tate Modern and the Dulwich Picture Gallery.
