The Magpies ran in 12 tries to one to win 62-4 in Armidale on Sunday.
It took six minutes for Glen to land the first blow with Michael Miller crossing for the first of his three tries.
Ten minutes later Magpies winger John-Henry Williamson scored in the corner for his side to take an 8-nil lead.
Nick Say went over two minutes later.
Armidale hit back through Edward Pitt to bring the deficit back to 14-4 but they didn’t celebrate for long as Williamson managed to score his second try of the game.
Miller scored his second two plays after the re-start to bring the half-time score to 26-4.
The Magpies stepped up a gear in the second stanza with Luke Hodgson crossing early before Miller landed his third for the game.
Tim Grob scored back-to-back four-pointers before Lachlan Chard continued the rout with one of his own.
Guy Mepham crossed late in the game to round out the try-scorers list.
Captain-coach Nick Say lauded his side’s defensive effort in the second-half.
“We knew they would come out firing and they did,” he said.

“They played well in the first 20 minutes, we just had to wear them down a bit and we did that.
“We scored a few points but the back end of the first-half which wasn't pleasing but we spoke about it at half-time, to come out and keep them tryless in the second-half and we did that which was nice.”
The Magpies take on the Inverell Hawks at home this Sunday, who missed out on a victory against the Boomerangs with a 27-26 loss.
Despite his team’s big win, Say is aiming for a more consistent 80-minute performance from his side when they face the Hawks.
“We spoke about that at half-time, working for next weekend, and I thought we did that,” he said.
“It will be a tough game next weekend, we are looking forward to it, we have been talking about it all week.
“They [Inverell] are going pretty well at the moment.
I don't know who they have got back since the last time we played them but we will be up for it.”
In the league tag, Glen Innes posted their third loss for the season.
The Magpies fell 22-12 after a promising start. Coach David Willis lamented their attack wasn’t up to scratch and Armidale made them pay for it.
“Yesterday [Sunday] was probably our best start we have had all year,” he said.
“We scored two quick tries to Alisa Tunamena and Molly Campbell.
“For the first 15 minutes they went well, then they stopped talking and Armidale got two quick tries against us so they led 12-8 at half-time.
“In the second-half we came out and couldn't complete any sets.
“Armidale scored another two tries and it went downhill from there.”
Willis said they will be aiming to pick up their act with the ball in hand in preparation for the Hawks.
“You just have to stay calm and complete the sets, put the pressure back on them, that is what we didn't do and hence why we got beaten,” he said.
The Magpies under 18s were also beaten 24-6.
