NEGS Principal Mary Anne Evans said the event brought the whole school community together.
“All monies raised will be allocated towards our scholarship fund that will directly benefit future students of the school,” Mrs Evans said.

“Thanks to a surge in enrolment numbers, and investment in infrastructure, sport and STEM, NEGS is going through a strong growth phase that puts paid to the ongoing rumours that the school is destined to close. It’s a nice position to be in,” she said.
The fundraising event included an auction, with prizes which included a weekend at Annuka Beach Resort, Diggers Beach, Coffs Harbour, a premier club package to watch a Sydney Swans match at the SCG, a Sydney Rooster's jersey signed by the 2018 team, and jockey silks and photo of champion racehorse Winx winning the Cox Plate, signed by Hugh Bowman.
