Police are investigating after a man, allegedly armed with a knife, targeted a fast food store last night.

Officers have been told the armed man entered Queen Elizabeth Drive store just before 10pm on Tuesday.
He allegedly threatened a male employee and demanded cash. The employee refused, and the man attempted to open the till, before leaving the scene empty-handed.
New England officers established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.
The man is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 170cm tall and of solid build. He was wearing a jacket, long pants and had his face covered.
Police are also investigating the armed robbery of fast food outlet on Dumaresq Street over the weekend.
It is believed a man entered the restaurant, threatening staff and demanding cash, just before 10pm on Saturday, June 16.
He is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, aged between 25 and 35, and was wearing a blue hooded jumper with the hood pulled over his face.
Police are investigating whether the two incidents are linked.
No one was injured during both incidents.
New England Police District acting commander superintendent Roger Best said residents are urged to come forward and contact police with any piece of information.
“Even the smallest piece of information can assist with our investigation, it could be something you may have seen, or even something you heard,” Superintendent Best said.
“Information from the community is vital to all our investigations, and can often help solve a case.
“Your information could be the last piece of the puzzle that police need.”
