“This will be a flagship school for the state. It will be the top notch educational facility, and I think will make Armidale the envy of every other country centre.”
The $65 million project will see Duval and Armidale high schools demolished and replaced with a brand new, state-of-the-art high school for 1500 students.
Mr Marshall said the school was already in the planning stage for uniforms and logos.
“There will be public information sessions coming up this term and I encourage people to go along,” he said.
“It’s going to be enormous and I’m very excited.”
