On the Blues’ Soldier On fundraiser day, Robb came back from a 25-7 half-time deficit to claim the win in a top-of-the-table game.
The Blues dominated the first-half and, with a heavy weight of possession early, John Roberts was first to put points on the board.
A penalty goal followed by a Jackson Dunn-try saw the Blues rocket out to a 17-nil.
Armidale extended again through a penalty goal before Robb hit back with a five-pointer to Marshall Arnold with nine minutes left in the opening half.
Blues winger Jackson Dunn swooped on a grubber one minute out from the break to land his second try of the game.
It took nearly 20 minutes for the first points of the second stanza to be scored with Robb second rower Max Cowley muscling his way in on the goal post.
Five minutes later Josh Jones scored for the students to bring the deficit back to 25-19.
Minutes later Tom Bucknell raced away to score under the posts for a converted try to take a 26-25 lead for his team.
The Blues took back the lead via a penalty goal but the never-say-die attitude of Robb College saw Jack Mann make his way over for them to re-take the lead.
The conversion was missed at 31-28 and the students managed to hold the Blues out to claim the win.
