While everyone else takes a break for the three-day weekend, the college sides have brought their match forward to cater for the university holiday period.
For Albies, the clash is the chance at redemption after their rivals pipped them in a parents’ weekend thriller last month while Robb are aiming to keep university bragging rights.
“It should be a fast, free-flowing game of footy,” Robb co-coach Sam Ditchfield said.
“The first game was very entertaining and hopefully this one is as equally as entertaining.
“It wouldn't matter if one of us was coming last and one of us was coming first, they are always close games.
“Regardless of where either team has been going during the season, bragging rights are very hardly fought for.”
Albies are coming off a bye weekend and are raring to go. Coach Chris Kelly agreed with his counterpart and is expecting another impressive encounter.
“We saw in the first round it was a good, tough game,” he said.
“It was sad for the result to not come our way but we got beaten by a better team on the day and we will hopefully turn it around with some good footy for the whole 80 minutes. It will be a good, fast, attacking game. I think it will be very entertaining.”
Both coaches believe their sides will have to be switched on for the get-go and can’t afford any lulls in their performance.
“If you are not on somewhere, you will get found out,” Kelly said.
“Because the pace of the game is fast, sooner or later the cracks will appear and then it is just a matter of managing that.”
Four grades will be played at Bellevue with third grade commencing at 10am.
Firsts begin at 1.15pm.
