MANILLA: Paragliding State of Origin, 2018. The largest annual paragliding event in the world with over 200 pilots attending. The event (a competition between NSW, QLD, VIC, ACT and the world Barbarians) will fly between 11am and 2pm from Friday to Tuesday. The event is free for spectators.
MOREE: St Francis Xavier Catholic Church will have a Good Friday service at 3pm. All Saints Anglican Church will have a service at 8.30am.

BUNDARRA: The Central School is celebrating 150 years from 10am. Everyone is invited to the free event.
HANGING ROCK: Markets at the Community Hall from 10am to 4pm. The Market stalls include fresh produce, bric-a-brac, cakes, jams, morning and afternoon tea. Stall holders welcome ($10 fee) call 6769 3670 to book.
GLEN INNES: Easter Funday at Torrington Memorial Hall from 7am. The day starts with breakfast and market stalls, followed by a ham wheel, lucky envelopes, yabbie races, kids' fossicking, the Easter Bunny, egg hunt, kids activities and live music. The event is free.
TAMWORTH: Family Funday workshops at Tamworth Regional gallery. These free workshops are encouraging kids to become creative. Workshops are three times a day from 10.15am, 11.15 and 12.15pm and will take place on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

NUNDLE: Celebrate the gold rush heritage of Nundle and Hanging Rock. The festival honours the significant role of Chinese and European miners, storekeepers in the development of Nundle and district. Highlights include Chinese Lion and Dragon Dances, Traditional Chinese women dances, pan for $1000 worth of gold, live music, entertainment, markets and a wide selection of food stalls. Free event.

MOREE: A celebration of the Overseas Telecommunications Commission Satellite Earth Station Opening 50 years ago. A dinner will take place at Moree Services Club on Saturday night.
