A man has died after being struck by a train at Scone.

About 9.45pm on Saturday, emergency services were called to Kingdon Street following reports the male was hit by a train on a railway level crossing.
The man, who hasn’t been formally identified, died at the scene.
Officers from Hunter Valley Local Area Command (LAC) attended and established a crime scene.
Inquiries into the incident are continuing and police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
Only two years ago, also in December, a 29-year-old Aberdeen man was killed while crossing train tracks at Liverpool Street about 1.30am.
Police remind people to be careful around rail crossings.
