Andrew John Osmand is yet to enter a plea to the charge of murdering Kenneth Hodges by stabbing him in the neck sometime between 6.50pm on June 21 and 8.30am on June 22.

On Wednesday, Magistrate Michael Holmes adjourned the case to February to allow Armidale detectives to gather further evidence.
He’s ordered the brief of evidence to be served on the defence team by late-January.
Osmand made no application for bail and it was formally refused.
