Her back was broken, she had lost a lot of blood and doctors told her that her baby was unlikely to survive.
“After that the doctor said my baby, Semih, would have a lot of problems – but I accepted the baby,” Ms Kanyilmaz said.
“Semih was born and the doctors said he was a miracle baby, but after one year Semih started shaking, his whole body.”
Now five-years-old, Semih has a problem with his hearing and with little money his mother struggled to raise the funds to pay for his operation.
A loan and donations from kind strangers meant Semih could have an operation on his ears and in three weeks doctors expect to see the results.
Semih has begged his mother for a violin but Ms Kanyilmaz has struggled to find work with her baby.
