Armidale Golf Club held their annual Christmas Ham day on Saturday with 110 golfers turning up to take part.
Thirteen hams were given out to winners across the three men’s and two women’s grades.
Numbers were up this year with the normal figure of participants sitting around 80-90.
General manager of the club Tim Allerton said it was a successful event.
"It is great to see all the people turn up,” he said.
"There was a free membership draw on the night so someone gets a year's membership subscription as well.
"It gives a chance for the club to put something on for the members for Christmas.”
The club also had the new skate golf caddies on display.
The new carts have less impacts on courses and are a fun way of getting around between shots.
"It has taken off in America, there is about 160 courses with fleets of them,” Allerton said.
"Some people still prefer to play in carts but it is fun.”
