Armidale Regional Council is calling on landholders to offer potential quarry sites as Council seeks new sources of gravel for its road works.

Council currently operates 13 registered gravel pits but is seeking new options as their reserves diminish.

The need for additional gravel has become more apparent since the amalgamation due to the sharing of resources according to Council.
