QUOTA Armidale are throwing on their best digs to raise money for charity.
Organiser of the Spring Fashion Parade Pamela Jackson has been a member of Quota Armidale and a staff member at Black Pepper for the last few years and thinks the event is a fantastic opportunity to raise much needed funds for the community.
“It’s for local charities and our main purpose is to assist those with hearing and speech impediments and we also have an annual scholarship at the university,” she said.
“This is our fourth fashion parade now, it’s become an annual event and even our customers ask when the next parade will be on.”
The event will be hosted by Oak Tree Retirement Village.
Clothes will be modeled by customers of the Black Pepper store.
“The clothes are being modeled by real people, we get a wide range because we cater for all shapes and sizes,” she said.
Tickets are $10 and are available from the Black Pepper shop at Armidale Central.
The Spring Fashion Parade is on Saturday October 15.
