MINISTER for Disability Services John Ajaka has announced $1.5 million in funding for the Aboriginal disability sector.
The initiative involves a $1 million support program for Aboriginal disability support providers.
An additional $500,000 will go toward an improvement of the cultural competence of the generalist disability sector.
The funding aims to enhance the capacity of the Aboriginal disability sector in the transition to the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
