CREW on the Westpac Rescue Helicopter have responded to a motorcycle accident on Waterfall Way.
A 55-year-old man has been flown to hospital in Coffs Harbour in a serious but stable condition after he sustained head injuries in the incident.
It is believed the rider lost control of the vehicle before he was thrown from the bike.
The incident occurred 40 kilometres east of Armidale.
