Northern Tablelands MP Adam Marshall delivered a debating master class at Armidale High School on Thursday.
The school’s year nine and ten debating teams met with their local member to practice their public speaking skills.
Mr Marshal was an strong debater when he attended Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School and was happy to pass on his experience to the students.
His workshop focused on the practical skills of developing the students as debaters.
As they consider joining the senior competition next year, the year ten team made particular use of this experience.
Last semester the year nine team dominated the local competition.
“As they progress to the next round they will be pleased to make use of the knowledge and experience Mr Marshal imparted," Armidale High School teacher Greg Bugden said.
