INVERGOWRIE resident Laura Murray and her dog Bo wrap up before a predicted cold snap hits the city tomorrow.
Bureau of Meteorology forecaster David Wilke said a light dusting of snow was forecast for tonight across the Northern Tablelands. The mercury is expected to drop to minus 2 degrees tomorrow and minus 5 degrees on Sunday.
“It will warm up a little on Sunday during the day with a maximum of 13 degrees,” Mr Wilke said.
“This is the first serious cold front we have had but the temperatures aren’t particularly unusual for the area.”
Armidale’s State Emergency Service Unit controller Josh Osborne cautioned motorists against black ice and to take care on the roads.
