At its annual meeting later today, the club’s board will move to wind it up.
Financial woes and poor patronage have plagued the Armidale Club in the past year, according to president Jon Anderson.
Last December, the club auctioned off its premises for $400,000, leaving it debt free.
But in January its financial problems worsened with the board considering voluntary administration.
The club has been a stalwart in supporting live and local music.
Members will meet at the Beardy Street club from 5.30pm.
On Saturday week, The Imprints will return to the stage, having just played at Glastonbury and the Edinburgh Fringe festival and travelled across Britain and Europe for three months.
Former Armidale singer Willow Stahlut said during the tour she ran into a number of people with Armidale connections, including other ex-Armidale Youth Orchestra musicians.
Entry is $10 or $7 concession.
