Reporting to our Regional Manager, and working closely with our Technical Lead and Radiologists, you will be responsible for managing the daily clerical staff workforce requirements.

Based in our Armidale clinic, you will provide professional and operational leadership to a small team of clerical staff, ensuring high quality, efficient and friendly services to patients, customers, referrers, and the community, whilst achieving cost and productivity targets.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Driving the delivery of high-quality reception services
  • Proactively manage the appointment schedule in collaboration with the Technical Lead and Radiologists to maximise productivity
  • Manage data and information accuracy in the clinic including invoicing and receipting
  • Provide clerical staff with ongoing and regular feedback, monitoring and coaching
  • Providing excellent customer service and patient care
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experienced customer service focused professional with previous people management experience
  • Ability to manage a clerical team in a fast-paced environment (Medical preferable)
  • Ability to enable and empower the administrative team to provide quality service for our patients
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Confident with computers and IT systems

COVID-19 Vaccination Policy

I-MED has a policy which requires all I-MED staff to have their first dose of COVID-19 vaccination by 31 October 2021 and their second dose by 15 December 2021, unless they have a valid medical exemption. Some staff will be subject to Government public health orders to be vaccinated earlier than this date. The successful candidate for this role will be required to comply with I-MED’s policy and any applicable Government public health orders. During our interview process, we will be asking you to please confirm your ability to meet the above-mentioned requirements of the role.
