Get set for a concert of royal proportions on Wednesday, February 21 at Capitol Theatre, Tamworth when three of the best Elvis tribute artists take to the stage.

Elvis – An American Trilogy is the complete story of Elvis’ career in a spectacular live concert taking you on a journey through the life and music of the “The King”.

Vic Trevino Jnr embodies the rockabilly sound and raw dance moves of the young Elvis.

Gino Monopoli recreates the sophistication feel and sound of the movie years taking in tracks from the most iconic movies such as GI Blues, Kid GallahadSpeedway and many more as well as recreating Elvis’ 1968 comeback TV special.

Steve Michaels channels Elvis in the famous White Eagle jumpsuit, passionately recreating the ‘70s era of An American Trilogy with the moves, songs and nuances that made Elvis one of the most recognisable figures in history.

Performing at both Capitol Theatre Tamworth and Bendemeer Town Hall as part of Tamworth Regional Council’s initiative, Capitol Theatre Presents, this dynamic group of performers whose deep understanding of Klezmer, the celebratory and soulful music of Eastern European Jews, is reflected in exuberant, passionate and accomplished performances.

The London Klezmer Quartet includes Ilana Cravitz (violin), Susi Evans (clarinet), Carol Isaacs (accordion) – all direct from the UK – and Aussie, Indra Buraczewska (double bass and vocals).

You can catch London Klezmer Quartet at Bendemeer Town Hall on Wednesday, February 21 at 7.30pm and Capitol Theatre Tamworth on Thursday, February 22 also at 7.30pm.
