The Central North side launched out of the blocks in their first game against North Coast on Monday.

Although he was removed cheaply with the bat, Armidale’s Sam Johnson played a key role in the demise of North Coast’s batting order, taking 2-9 from five overs.
Tuesday saw Central North take on Illawarra in another dominant display by the local side. Central North finished off Illawarra for 116 and it took just 15.2 overs for them to reach their target with Jack Hamilton finishing on 90 not out and Johnson on 14 not out.
Armidale’s Ryan Simpson was the pick of Central North’s bowlers, snagging 2-13 from five overs.
