Finally! Khloe Kardashian confirms she's pregnant

In news that is at best, semi-surprising, Khloe Kardashian has confirmed via Instagram that she is pregnant. Uploading a black and white close-up of her tummy, replete in Calvin Klein underwear, the youngest Kardashian sister included an emotional caption in which she thanked God for his timing, and her boyfriend Tristan, for making her a "mummy".

"My greatest dream realised! We are having a baby! I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along. He knew what He was doing."

The speculation over the 33 year-old's pregnancy began in September, when multiple reports suggested that both Khloe and her younger sister, Kylie Jenner were expecting. Since then, older sister Kim attempted to quash reports, calling them "fake news" via Twitter. Fans remained unconvinced, and rumours abounded that the sisters were keeping things quiet in order to garner high ratings for their reality TV show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, now in its 14th season.

Earlier this week, Kardashian faced further scrutiny when a selfie she had taken showed a pregnancy pillow in the reflection of her sunglasses, leading fans to conclude the obvious.

Kardashian, who was married to basketball player Lamar Odom from 2009 until 2015, began dating her current boyfriend, basketball player, Tristan Thompson, 26, in September last year.

According to reports, Kardashian will give birth to a son in early 2018.

"They are absolutely thrilled," a source told People Magazine.

"This isn't something they were in a rush to announce to the whole world, and it's only been in just the past week or so that they've felt comfortable telling most of their inner circle."
