The first round last weekend was a success for the Tigers with one win and a narrow loss.
Uralla player Hannah Skewes said the team pulled up well and are fit for their clashes against Werris Creek and North Tamworth in round two.
“This time we know a little bit more about what we need to do and how we need to play so that's a good thing,” she said.
“We had a fair few come to training this week so we have a few numbers.
“We had a bit of a chat on how we felt, about any injuries and stuff we needed to address, but most people said they were fine.
“We had a couple of people even say that the first time we tackled at training, they felt worse after that than they did after the games.”
They begin the fixture with a clash against Werris Creek who were down on players in the opening round but Skewes expects them to be strong team this time round.
“I played for Werris Creek last time in their second game because they were short, they said they had a few playing representative league tag but they said this week they should be fine and they should have them back so they will be a fair team to beat,” she said.
“Norths are quite a strong team too, they won both their games last weekend. Norths are going to be a really tough game because they have some pretty handy players.”
Skewes said local support was “amazing” in round one and hopes the community turn out once again.
