“Over Friday drinks the PhD students thought it’d be hilarious if the guys grew moustaches and at the same time could raise some money for a good cause” PhD student Julian Klepp said.

The Movember Foundation raises money to help research into prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide.

Every year men and women support the foundation, with some of the most visible efforts being on the faces of men each November.

“Our team has already raised over $1000, but we hope we can increase that figure over the next two weeks,” PhD student Dane Lyddiard said.
