Easts head into round five after two losses and a washout with their lone victory against the now-exited Barbarians in round one.
Guyra made the step up to the top grade this season and are yet to land a win. Easts have a threatening side on paper but have failed to live up to their potential with consecutive matches resulting in scores under 100 with the bat.
“Anyone's dangerous at the moment with the way we are playing cricket,” captain Sam Uphill said.
“We could go back to third grade and struggle at the moment. We are just not performing with bat.
“I think everyone is thinking that we have such a decent side on paper that someone else will do the job.
“You just can't have a first grade side like ours get bowled out for 70 and then 90.”
Although Guyra are winless, Uphill believes they could threaten his side’s potential to re-find their form.
“They're due because they have a lot of big game players that can take a game away from you pretty quickly. Hopefully said I am not on the receiving end of that this weekend,” he said.
“They will be a bit like Baa Baas, they have some guys that can change a game really quickly, Charlie Keen and Ben Jackson and those sort of guys, if they get going we will be in trouble. They have a good enough side to beat anyone and that's the beauty of the comp, it's so close and once a few teams start gelling it will be very close.”
