Hospital staff held a morning tea to thank volunteers for their tireless efforts.
“We’ve had two trading tables this year and the canteen … which runs five days a week,” Armidale Hospital Auxiliary President Robyn Clutterbuck said.
Staff create a wishlist of equipment needed and everything purchased is for patient use.
Armidale Hospital General Manager Wendy Mulligan said the morning tea was all about saying “thank you”.
“We really appreciate everything that you do,” she said whilst thanking the group on Tuesday morning.
The money has gone toward purchasing a huge amount of equipment including 16 bedside hutches, a top loader washing machine, a macroview otoscope, two teaching stethoscopes, a sewing machine for rehabilitation, four commode chairs, two wheelchairs and much more.
