The Demon Knights reserve grade team have come from fourth place to land a spot in the decider, toppling Oxley Vale Attunga in the opening semi-final and then minor premiers Norths United in the grand final qualifier.
“They're excited and they have done really well to get to the grand final,” DK head coach Evan Quaife said.
“They have a good blend of some youngsters and some older heads.
“Lachlan Williamson, Jack Campbell, Reese Habchi who have played regularly this year in that division and then you've got the nearly-40 Terry Daly, Dave Farmer, James McNeill. Luke Birmingham in goals has been magnificant all year. The defenders Rhes Luders, Tom Burton, Jay Westfold have done really well. Jordy Watts, a new one from Souths this year has scored a lot of goals up front.
“Declan Humphreys got a lot of goals but he's getting married this weekend.
“Kyle Winter has been playing really well.”
