The day kicked off with pupils going head to head in a battle of the bands before an afternoon of activities across the school grounds.
Now in its third year, organiser Fiona Kelly told The Express the day was about more than just having fun.
“Today is all about the students’ mental health and trying to connect them with people in the community so they’ve got other people to reach out to,” Ms Kelly said.
Organisations such as Pathfinders and Healthwise were at the event, giving students an idea of what services are available in the local community.
“Today we’ve got 25 activities in two different sessions and includes things like camp cooking, footsall, gardening, a ninja warrior course, song writing and other various things,” Ms Kelly said.
A group of students even had their own radio station, playing their favourite tunes throughout the day in the quadrangle.
