The Armidale Hospital oncology nurse took out the award for most money raised and said she couldn’t have done it without the support of so many.
“We had a casserole day, a sausage sizzle, a cake day, we had pasta and meat pies,” she said.
“We must have had at least 10 of those weeks and raised over $7,000.
“It was amazing and so many departments at the hospital gave support.
“Moxon’s Bakery donated a lot of stuff to help with the fundraising.”
Ms Goodall said she decided to get involved with this year’s Dance for Cancer because working in oncology, it’s something she is passionate about.
“This year they decided to raise money for a car for our Armidale patients, which is unbelievable,” she said.
“What a great cause.
“And I do like dancing … learning a style of dance was really fun.”
