And the country has become more noticeable since she headed to Tamworth for the annual songwriting retreat at DAG Sheep Station in early July.
After writing with Aleyce Simmonds and other participants, Brouhaha came away with eight songs from the retreat.
“I didn’t know I could do country, until I went to the DAG, and now I feel totally a country artist because I hang out with those guys,” she said.

Brouhaha arrived in the New England region this month with new music, after releasing her latest EP, Mama Didn't Raise A Quitter.
“I released a lot of music, but I’d never released music that I really connected with,” Brouhaha said.
“And this EP came after I left my husband and my mortgage and my day job to do music full-time, and it’s me coming out the other end of all that crap that you go through, doing that.”
That was about three years ago, and this year Brouhaha hit the road, touring.
She has spent the year travelling around the country in her van dubbed 'Pamela Vanderson', living the road-worn adventure.
