The side have scored 21 goals in their last two matches to put them in top spot for goals scored this season of any top tier team.
In round 17 against Inverell Joeys, they scored 11 goals to nil before their most recent triumph came in the form of a 10-2 durbbing of South Armidale.
Jake Davies led the way with six, Corby Kliendienst scored three and Brent Pedlow snagged one.
Despite their attacking prowess, Easts find themselves outside a semi-finals position with three games to go.
Captain Trent Irwin said they may have left their run a bit late but they have the ability to worry any team’s defence.
“I thought they [Souths] might have been understrength but I was talking to Runner [Mark Farrant] and PJ [Wright] after the game but that is the same side that beat FC and drew with Norths so it kind of puts into perspective where we are at,” he said.
“The thing that is really impressive at the moment is our attack, our front three of Jake Davies, Brent Pedlow and Corby Kliendienst is pretty deadly.
“We create opportunities in their final third and more often than not those boys are going to finish it off. The other good thing too was it was 9-nil late in the second half and then we decided to bring some of our reserve grade players on for a bit of an opportunity in first grade so that is the only reason we conceded late as well.”
Their match-up this Saturday against Demon Knights, who are also coming off a 9-nil win, is expected to be a fast encounter.
DK will be out to win to keep their semi-finals hopes alive while Easts need to win every remaining game to be a chance in September. Irwin expects a rapid game to be played out in the midfield.
“It is pretty crucial for them if they are going to make the top four,” he said.
“They've got some pretty skillful players in that area, we also are going to need to be on our toes to mark their two wingers.
“Naz [Naran Singh] in the midfield with Jimmy [James] Thompson, they're two players to watch too with pretty good skills and passing games so if we can contain them on our counter attack, we are going to create opportunities to score goals.”
