AFTER MONTHS of hard work selling raffle tickets, the New England Quilters and Patchworkers group has rallied $4000 to donate to Lifeline in Armidale.

The charity organisation provides crisis support and suicide prevention for people in need.
Quilters and Patchworkers member Robyn Wood said it was fantastic to be able to help a worthy cause get up and running.
“They’ve been trying to establish a centre in town for a while now and we hope our donation will help them out,” she said.
The money raised will go towards establishing a Lifeline Counselling Hub in town and providing in-shift supervision to telephone crisis supporters in other centres, training, a new premises and furniture.
